How Therapy Can Help

Being able to have a safe, therapeutic space with a counsellor that you trust can help in normalizing the stressful experience of being a student. Therapy can also provide an opportunity for new skills and insights that may help you reduce suffering and improve your quality of life.

Is Therapy Covered for Toronto University Students and Toronto College Students?

University and Colleges do have mental health supports on the campus that are free. It can be helpful to check out what services are already offered, not just because they are free, but because working with someone who knows your campus/ program/ environment can be helpful in navigating challenges that arise because of school.

Below are links to health plans for different post-secondary schools in the Toronto area that cover this service.
